a lesbian couple was recognized and blessed at the church where I subbed this morning. it made me smile to see Christians showing love, especially toward gay people.

i wish that i still had all of my animorph books. because i would read them again. because they are awesome!
i had them in a tub in an outside storage building, and ants got in the tube and started to eat the binding so we threw them out.

the priest brought a grill, complete with ignited charcoal and a chicken breast, into the church this morning. unfortunately, this also meant that we were inhaling carbon monoxide—albeit mixed with incense—for about half an hour. i now have an excuse for any apparent brain damage.

i had lunch with my new boss today. can i just say that she is, hands down, one of the coolest people i’ve ever met? i just did. and she is.
she took me to this delicious place for lunch, showed me around the BEAUTIFUL church with TWO! organs, and even helped me find a subbing gig for the next two sundays. she’s offered to tour me around the city to show me what’s up and...
